Your sport. Your data.
Your progress.
Multisport Training Diary by North Arrow was created for sports that are usually left without proper training diary apps.
Most training apps are built around a limited set of mainstream sports. They work well at first, but once training becomes more discipline-specific and metrics need to be adapted, you quickly hit a wall. Fixed data structures, limited statistics, and no room for customization.
For six years, the solution was Excel — because it allowed complete freedom. But Excel is far from practical, especially on mobile devices.
This app is the solution to that problem.
Multisport Training Diary is designed to work for any sport and any athlete. The app includes hundreds of sports, and if yours is missing, you can create it yourself. You can define your own metrics, customize statistics, and track exactly what matters in your discipline.
A major step forward is animal tracking, designed especially for equestrian and dog sports. You can add your animals to shared training sessions, as well as create separate training, activity, and care entries specifically for them. Each animal has its own calendar and statistics view, making it easy to monitor training load, balance, and overall wellbeing.
Training sessions can include photos and videos directly in the activity log. The app is also social: connect with friends or add your coach, who can view and comment on your training.
Multisport Training Diary also includes an AI Trainer to support training planning and an Exercise Hub where you can store your own training routines and share them with friends.
The free version is extensive and fully usable. Premium unlocks unlimited features and costs €4.99/month.
The app is designed to be approachable and flexible — a solid foundation for any athlete who wants a clear, customizable way to document and understand their training.
Developer’s experience
From an athlete’s point of view, it is a simple but powerful fact:
when your calendar fills with colored markers — one for each completed training session — every session feels more real, more visible, more done.
As an athlete, tracking hours, volumes, and training quality can sometimes feel heavy. A good training diary makes life significantly easier when statistics, calendars, goals, and plans are handled automatically — all in one place, always with you.
As the app’s designer, I especially value the Coach Dashboard. It allows me to see my athletes’ latest training sessions at a glance, comment on their technique videos, and send them individual instructional videos and images. This has completely removed the constant flow of videos through WhatsApp — no more downloading, deleting, and managing files on my phone.
Training with horses and dogs, it has been extremely valuable to track how much and what the animals have trained, as well as other important notes in their daily lives. Seeing the whole picture has made it much easier to plan training that is more balanced, varied, and sustainable for them.
The AI Trainer has been a fun and genuinely useful extra. On days when I don’t feel like planning, it can generate a daily workout or a longer training plan based on my specifications. It makes training surprisingly effortless when motivation or creativity is low.
Finally, I want to thank everyone who has been involved in the app, tested it, or started using it long-term. Developing this app has been a major project, and every piece of feedback is truly valuable.
Attention! This app is different to the one where we have our online courses (Spaces by Wix, presented under). You can read more about the online courses on their own page.
